No quality loss...ya rly!! he had one of those glossy screens...and (i picked right click>set as bg>stretch to fit) the stretched wall looked clean and glossy too...i was bewildered myself

this is the size i worked with...but if you have one of those 'ultra sharp' hi res monitor...
my friend has a dell inspiron 9200 (or whatever...its 9000 something), his res is 1920-1200, a 1280-800 wall i made fit his monitor perfectly without any loss of quality...heh
